You may apply for VASA membership if you are fourteen years of age or older and meet one of the following requirements:You were born in Nordic country.
You are of Nordic ancestry.
You are the spouse of an active VASA member.
You are a non-Nordic widow or widower of a VASA member.
You are not of Nordic ancestry but are committed to the promotion and advancement of Swedish and Nordic heritage and culture.
Youth and children under the age of fourteen are always welcome to participate in Monitor Lodge activities and there are often activities specifically tailored for them.
All membership in VASA is through Local Lodges. To apply for membership, please contact Monitor Lodge by email or letter. You can find a listing of all Local Lodges on the VASA website: www.vasaorder.com/districts.

If you are interested in joining Monitor Lodge in Sacramento, you will need to sign the printed form and either bring it to a Lodge meeting or mail it to Monitor’s Lodge Secretary (please use the Contact Us link to obtain the current secretary’s mailing address). There is a $10 “Initiation Fee” that must accompany your Application for Membership. Monitor Lodge’s annual dues are currently $35.00 per active member. Once your membership is approved, the lodge secretary will coordinate with you regarding the time and place of the meeting where a short initiation ceremony will occur.
